Brent Reid
Melbourne
Brent Reid is Director of the London College of Garden Design Melbourne. He has been involved in the Australian landscape industry for over 25 years as both designer and landscaper/horticulturist.
His landscape design practice, Candeo Design has won awards for his many gardens including major shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Malaysia and in 2024 he was awarded the prestigious ‘Spirit of the Show’ award at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show.
Brent has worked internationally and his gardens are well known from the many features in leading garden magazines and television. He is a member of the international Chartered Institute of Horticulture and also contributes regularly to garden media and as a tour leader for Ross Garden Tours.
Andrew Fisher Tomlin
London & Melbourne
Andrew Fisher Tomlin is a Chartered Horticulturist and a Fellow of the UK’s professional body for horticulture, the Chartered Institute of Horticulture. He is well known for creating gardens and landscapes around the world and has won many awards for his work in a number of countries including Australia, the USA and New Zealand as well as in the UK. Andrew is a regular lecturer for us both in-person in Melbourne and online.
He founded the design company Fisher Tomlin & Bowyer over 30 years ago and it continues to provide garden design services in the UK under the direction of Dan Bowyer, his business partner of almost 20 years. Andrew is best known as a planting designer and remains a part of the team as a horticulture and planting design consultant on major projects.
Andrew has been a visiting lecturer at The Victoria & Albert Museum, London and The Smithsonian in Washington DC amongst other places. He is Patron of Veterans’ Growth, a charity supporting veterans facing mental health issues through horticultural therapy.
Andrew Wilson
London
Andrew Wilson is one of the UK’s leading garden design lecturers and has been at the forefront of garden design teaching in the UK and overseas, for over 30 years. He is currently a consultant garden designer and landscape architect with the McWilliam Studio, working both nationally and internationally. He is a former RHS show gardens judge, a past Chair and a Fellow of the Society of Garden Designers.
Andrew has written 11 books including the No 1 Bestseller RHS Small Garden Handbook, Contemporary Colour in the Garden, Influential Gardeners, The Book of Garden Plans and the Book of Plans for Small Gardens. He is also the founding editor of The Garden Design Journal.
