From the bustling corporate world of Mauritius to the creative landscapes of garden design, Manon de Robillard’s journey has been anything but ordinary. After completing her Bachelor of Economics in France, Manon returned home to Mauritius and found herself immersed in a demanding office job. Craving balance, she turned to painting – and it was there, amidst her botanical and aquatic-inspired artworks, that her passion for nature and design began to bloom.

“I started painting flowers and nature – A LOT,” she recalls, crediting this creative outlet for sparking her fascination with landscaping.

Inspired to explore this newfound passion, Manon took a leap of faith and discovered LCGD Melbourne. “I wanted to be able to explore my creativity,” she shares. Drawn to the outdoors and captivated by Australia’s appreciation for garden design, she even spent time working on a farm and in garden maintenance, gaining hands-on experience.

Now a proud graduate, Manon has launched her own design studio, Gardens by Manon, offering bespoke design services in Mauritius and abroad. Her unique perspective, shaped by her Mauritian roots and international experience, is reflected in her lush, artful designs that celebrate the beauty of nature.

With her brushes still at hand and her designs taking shape across borders, we’re excited to see Manon’s creativity flourish as she crafts extraordinary spaces for her clients.
