LCGD Info Burst C – New Iconic Gardens AVAILABLE AS A CATCH UP RECORDING

In 2011 we invited speakers to choose their iconic garden of the previous decade that will, in their mind, be the gardens we will still be talking about as landmarks in garden design in 20 years time.

This autumn 2022 we revisit this idea in a series of online ‘Info Burst’ webinars. Each of our six speakers will champion a garden, explore their choice, how the garden inspires them, tell us how they came to make that decision and why they think we’ll still be talking about their choice of garden in 2042.

Join us as leading designers from the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the USA take us on a journey of future new iconic gardens.

We will reveal the chosen gardens in September!

THESE EVENTS ARE RUN FROM BOTH THE UK & AUSTRALIA. IF THE TIMING DOESN’T WORK WHERE YOU ARE WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER A CATCH UP SERVICE SO THAT YOU CAN SEE A RECORDING AFTER THE EVENT

Annika Zetterman is a Swedish garden designer and writer, creating gardens across Scandinavia as well as in Spain and France. Simplicity, functionality and delicacy are central words in Annika’s work.

Annika was working in creative industries before gaining a Diploma in Garden Design at the English Gardening School, London. Drawing comes naturally to Annika. In addition to her creative background, she has been studying Fine Art.

Annika is the author of the book ‘New Nordic Garden, Scandinavian Landscape Design’. Alongside running her practice, Annika was teaching garden design in Stockholm for many years and lectures on the subject both in Sweden and abroad. Her work has been featured in books and publications nationally as well as internationally. In 2020 she was awarded a Silver Award by the APLD in the USA.

Our Info Burst seasons raise money for six horticultural charities in the UK and overseas – more details on our website.

All our Info Bursts are delivered remotely via online webinar and you will be sent an access code before the event. Each event counts as 1.5 hours CPD.

This event was originally held on 19/10/22, but we are able to offer a catch up recording – just contact the office on marco@lcgd.org.uk confirming the recording you would like to receive.
